The room had a nice layout with tatami flooring and included a cozy private bathroom with a bidet. Amenities like a flat-screen TV, dining area, electric kettle, and free toiletries were great. Spa facilities included massage options. The yukata added a nice touch to the experience.

The stay offered a comfortable room with tatami flooring and a private bathroom setup, which was convenient after a day of exploring. The location was very walkable to nearby attractions like Yasaka Shrine. the room was quite warm with no air conditioning, and it lacked some personalized attention during meals.

The room was spotless and featured a cozy layout with traditional tatami flooring. I appreciated the separate toilet and bathroom setup, which provided a bit of privacy and convenience for getting cleaned up after a long day of exploration.
The buzzing noise at night from an unknown machine was a real nuisance, and with no air conditioning in the warm room, it felt a bit uncomfortable, especially since we couldn’t use the windows due to insect bites from the previous nights. The setup of the sleeping area was off-putting. it felt like we'd been squeezed into a space meant for fewer guests, forcing us to double up on beds and move furniture around just to have some room to navigate.

Had an amazing time with my friends! The ryokan is super clean and offers a unique stay. We loved exploring the nearby Yasaka Shrine and wandering the charming streets. The futons were comfy and the traditional breakfast was a fun way to start the day. Just a heads up, it's best to check the hotel website for bus directions from the station before you go.
I was a bit disappointed when I asked for a bowl of rice for lunch when I was feeling under the weather, and they said it wasn’t possible to get anything from the kitchen.

Family with children delightful experience
It was a truly unique staying in a ryokan. The breakfast was a multi-course extravaganza, each dish was something memorable and totally different, it was lovely to try such fresh and delicious food together.
I won't lie, it wasn't exactly cheap but we didn't mind too much.
